This year, the pilot dropped them off and said, "Now you know the rules, no more than two moose because the plane can't take any more weight than that." The hunters agreed. They had a fantastic time hunting in the week, but when the plane returned for them the pilot found they had three moose. He argued that he couldn't take that much weight, but the hunters eventually convinced him, packed up their gear in the plane with the moose and got ready to take off. The pilot started the plane down the runway and just got it off the ground. He nearly made it over the trees at the end of the runway, but not quite. The plane crashed down into the trees. A few minutes later, one of the hunters woke up from his unconsciousness, saw the other hunter and asked, "Where are we?" The second hunter replied, "About 30 yards further than we got last year."
