Crosswordsite makes crosswords and other puzzles

I founded Crosswordsite as a crossword puzzle maker and creator way back in 2000. We have published crossword puzzles since then. That's me, Peter Sharp (aka Totiplexor), a puzzle writer, setter and compiler, in the picture. I'd always been interested in crosswords and decided to offer a range of puzzles of different sizes for people to have fun solving them on a website.

Then we found that people were interested in publishing puzzles in their own magazines, newspapers, flyers and apps.

So we added the ability for people to buy and publish puzzles in print. And you can buy web crossword puzzles to display on your website. These can be easy online crossword puzzles or more difficult ones – you choose. There are also some free online crosswords for US solvers and some free online crossword puzzles for UK solvers.

The crosswords on this website come in a range of sizes, from our new 7x7 square mini-puzzles to 15x15 squares, all in both US and UK English, styles and cultures. They vary in difficulty, too, and include easy crossword puzzles and some very challenging UK-style cryptics.

We also provide puzzles on request to suit almost any publishing requirements.

There are also some hard crossword puzzles especially for US solvers. Not for publication, these are very hard cryptic puzzles of a kind common in the UK but relatively rare in the US. Solvers who like really hard puzzles should appreciate them - I hope!

Last but not least, we now produce Sudokus, Wordsearches, Codewords (Codebreakers) and anagram crosswords as well, plus a range of brainteasers. So Crosswordsite is now a one-stop puzzle shop.

We have a lot of fun building these puzzles. I am sure your readers will find them just as much fun to solve.
